    The Plan

Business

Pool houses a vibrant and enterprising business community. Can we make it even better?

Transport

Pool’s roads are a nightmare and public transport woefully inadequate. What can we do about it?

Living

Pool needs homes, education, employment, medical services, social facilities, places to grow up happily, and to grow old in dignity. Could we do more to provide for all age-groups and circumstances?

Spaces

Pool’s special character comes from a combination of built environment, magnificent agricultural land, and public open spaces. How can we enhance these?

Pool-in-Wharfedale Neighbourhood Plan - Roadmap

A Neighbourhood Plan is a legal document developed by the local community.  It is about the use and development of land and related social, economic and environmental matters.

A Neighbourhood Plan allows us to put in place a vision and the policies to influence the future development of our community over the next twenty years.

The Pool-in-Wharfedale Neighbourhood Plan Steering Group is coordinating the preparation of our Plan based on the views and aspirations of our residents.

Its aim is to preserve the history and character of Pool-in-Wharfedale and encourage a responsible, innovative, and sustainable future.

Your involvement and support for our Plan is essential for the future of Pool-in-Wharfedale.
